Meet Roxy, a sweet and playful 10-year-old who’s thriving in foster care after leaving the shelter. She’s crate and house trained, loves her walks and outdoor lounging, and would do best in a calm, adult household with structure and boundaries.
Everyone meet….Roxy! Roxy is ten years young and was living in a shelter before she came to us, which is certainly no place for a senior. She has been in a foster home since October and has shown to thrive with walks, structure, boundaries, and playing in the yard! Despite her age, she still enjoys playing with tennis balls and getting in at least one to two solid walks a day.
Roxy has an incredibly sweet temperament, but still comes with boundaries, as most beings do! She can live with another dog as long as he/she is calm and respectful. She has existed around cats but does have some prey drive, so placing her with a cat is going to depend entirely on the temperament of the resident cat. Roxy is very calm and loves to spend most of her day just relaxing.
Roxy prefers to live out her glory days in a calm, adult household that will still offer her structure and boundaries. She walks beautifully on leash and really enjoys lounging in the outdoors. She would love a fenced in yard, but of course, not a requirement. She is completely crate and house trained. If you think Roxy sounds like she could fit into your family, please reach out! We would love nothing more than to find Roxy her forever home. She comes with one free session with our training team, her crate, and all necessary belongings.
Every application is carefully reviewed. To ensure that Bria finds the perfect homes for the dogs that she rescues, she will follow up only with applicants who are believed to be a great match for each individual dog. Applications are not considered on first come, first serve basis. She considers various factors such as the applicant’s lifestyle, living situation, and their ability to provide a safe and caring environment for any and all dogs.
Bria prioritizes applicants who show a genuine interest in providing a loving and forever home to the dogs in her rescue. While it is understood that every applicant has good intentions, resources are limited and the focus must be on those who best align with each dogs’ specific needs.
Meet Polaris—aka Polly—a 2-to-3-year-old American Bulldog mix with a stocky build, a big personality, and even bigger cuddles to give! After leaving a loud southern shelter, she’s thriving in Massachusetts, showing off her goofy, affectionate, and downright hilarious personality. Polly warms up quickly to new people (especially if treats are involved—she’s a big foodie!) and would love a lower-traffic home that provides structure and boundaries to help her be her best self.
Meet Big Vinnie, a 140-pound sweetheart rescued from the side of the highway. Protective yet loving, he thrives with a patient, breed-savvy owner in a low-traffic home, and he’s making great strides with training and social outings!
Meet Daisy, a 3-to-4-year-old, 45-pound sweetheart who has overcome a tough start with incredible resilience. Found as a stray in St. Louis after having a litter of puppies, she’s now settling into life in Massachusetts and will be spayed soon. Despite her past, Daisy is as loving as they come—she adores everyone she meets!
Meet Yoshi, a two-year-old stunner who hit the jackpot with a freedom ride from an overcrowded shelter in St. Louis to a fresh start in Massachusetts! This handsome pup is medium-energy, sleeps soundly in his crate, and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s a playful goofball who loves tug and toy time, and his trainers say he’s making great progress with new experiences.
Meet Asher, a three-year-old, 45-pound pup who spent over a year in a shelter before thriving in a board-and-train program. Fully crate and house trained, he’s looking for a low-traffic, New England home that can offer structure, exercise, and love, ideally as the only pet!
Meet Rocco, a two-year-old, 55-pound pup who recently caught his freedom ride to MA from an overcrowded shelter in St. Louis. Rocco is sweet and gentle, and loves his people, though it may take him some time to warm up for affection. Fully crate and house trained, he’s looking for a low-traffic home that can give him the chill lifestyle he deserves.
Meet Cringle, a 40 pound, affectionate and silly mixed breed! Cringle was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in St. Louis after spending some time as a stray. Cringle is great with people and dogs, and will do well in just about any household.
Meet Chapp, a 2-year-old, 65-70 pound charmer who’s ready to find his forever home! After breaking free from a southern shelter, he’s thriving in his foster home, proving himself to be crate trained, leash trained, and an all-around people lover. His shelter notes say he’s great with other dogs, and his trainers will be testing him soon—but signs point to YES!
Chapp is medium-energy, equally happy to lounge on his dog bed and soak up the sun as he is to spend time with his people. Given his size, he’d do best in a home with teens and up. And let’s be real—have you seen how handsome he is? He’s the total package!
