Everyone meet….Roxy! Roxy is ten years young and was living in a shelter before she came to us, which is certainly no place for a senior. She has been in a foster home since October and has shown to thrive with walks, structure, boundaries, and playing in the yard! Despite her age, she still enjoys playing with tennis balls and getting in at least one to two solid walks a day.

Roxy has an incredibly sweet temperament, but still comes with boundaries, as most beings do! She can live with another dog as long as he/she is calm and respectful. She has existed around cats but does have some prey drive, so placing her with a cat is going to depend entirely on the temperament of the resident cat. Roxy is very calm and loves to spend most of her day just relaxing.

Roxy prefers to live out her glory days in a calm, adult household that will still offer her structure and boundaries. She walks beautifully on leash and really enjoys lounging in the outdoors. She would love a fenced in yard, but of course, not a requirement. She is completely crate and house trained. If you think Roxy sounds like she could fit into your family, please reach out!
